Google has rolled out a new feature on Google Maps that enables users to report businesses engaging in unethical review practices. The new “Report Business Conduct” form is specifically designed to flag businesses that offer incentives for reviews or pressure individuals to leave feedback.

First discovered by Shoichi Hasegawa, he posted this news on X and claimed that Google Maps ‘Report Business Conduct‘ feature has come into action. Just weeks ago, as far as the Wayback Machine was concerned, it noticed a new option available there.
The move seems to be by Google in the interest of curtailing manipulative review practices while making its platform look sound and trustworthy once again. The users can view the report form right through Google Maps.
